When a loved one passes away, it can be the most unbearable time. Consequently, thinking about the necessary arrangements can be difficult.
Located in the shadows of St Peters Church, St Peters Hall offers a peaceful and fitting venue for funeral wakes and private lunches to celebrate the memory of a loved one. If you are making funeral arrangements and are organising a gathering of family and friends: Large and small events can be sensitively organised in many of our rooms.
Our Highly experienced, friendly and dedicated staff can assist you in planning the Celebration of Life and will ensure that all is done to make the day as stress free as possible for you and your guests.

We know how difficult it is to plan a Funeral, Wake or Celebration of Life, and during this difficult time, it is easy to overlook finer details of any event or organisation.
St Peters Hall can accommodate any size celebration through our Various Rooms available in order to suit your individual requirements. From Intimate gatherings of 10 through to large gatherings of 180, we have the perfect space for you.
We know from our experience that no two bookings are the same, so with this in mind we do not offer a set package, instead we will assist you to give you the ability to make the celebration of life exactly what you want it to be.
We can arrange catering for you, or if you would like to do this yourself this is also not a problem. Please contact us on the form below to discuss your individual requirements.

In order to try to make things as simple as they can be during a very difficult time, we offer a set package hire for our venue for all Wakes and Celebrations of Life.
Our Hire Includes the following:
- Exclusive Hire of The Great Hall and Terrace (Terrace available Summer season only)
- Background Music
- Use of Microphones for any speeches
- Complimentary Use of our Easel upon Entry
- All Staff
- Exclusive Hire of The Bar
- Complimentary Arrival Teas and Coffees
- Complimentary Use of our tables, chairs and black table linen
- Use of Room Uplighting
- Use of Projector and Screen for any Photo Montage if required
- 6 Hour Hire
Hire Fee - £500.00
Catering can be supplied by our range of approved suppliers or can be provided by the client directly
